![]() Today marks the day my tumor was removed. Last year, I went into surgery to have a Neurofibroma removed. Everything was easy peasy, and within hours I was in and out of outpatient. No indications anything was wrong. I was told I did great, and the mass would be biopsied as standard procedure. What followed 11 days later, I was completely unprepared for. I received a phone call telling me I had the Big “C.” How could this be? I am not even 30. I mean, yes cancer is something that is a serious threat as you get older, but I never thought at 30, and the healthiest I have been in my whole life, I would have cancer. I felt like my whole world came to a halt. How can this be? I am getting ready to celebrate my son’s 1st birthday! Then we got on the phone and worked on a solution. I am happy to report, 1 year later, the cancer has stayed away but I will be monitored closely for another couple of years. How this has changed my life. You know sometimes we forget how fragile life is, and we just need to live in the moment. Live life to the fullest, and make it a healthy one. I know that being healthy helped me fight the cancer, and find it easily. When you are healthy, and have no aches or pains, or any other conditions, it is hard for cancer to hide. So today I live life with purpose. I live life for God, my family, and to help others. I am taking my “Mess” and turning it into my message. So here it is: Love Hard, Live Healthy, & Pray Often! ![]() So I challenge you to do all 3! All 3 are actions you work at daily! Need help getting there? Let’s do it together. So where do you start? To Love hard, you need to pray for forgiveness and strength. You also have hard time loving others if you don’t love yourself. So take care of yourself. When you have faith and a relationship with God and you feel good about you, Love falls right into place. Two Verses
