Since I started my new health and fitness journey back in July a lot has changed. Not only my outward appearance has changed, but my confidence, perception, and attitude has changed for the better. I am so much more confident than I have ever been in my life. Eventhough my body is not perfect, I feel good when I put on my clothes and walk out the door. I am proud of what I have accomplished in such a short time. Just the other day someone said "you can stop drinking that shake you are skinny enough. " I thought WOW, maybe it is not clear what I am doing and how I have achieved success. It is very simple, I have been working out just about every day, eating clean, and drinking Shakeology.
As I write this, I am drinking a pumpkin pie shake, yes that is right, something that is so wonderful for you can taste like pumpkin pie! Shakeology is not a chemically created weight loss supplement, it is a shake made with all natural ingredients, that is dense in nutrition. While it does have protein, it is not just a protein shake, it is so much more. There are numerous benefits to using Shakeology and everyone has their reasons for why they use it. For me initially it helped me with weight loss, and during my time drinking Shakeology I realized it helped me with energy, regularity and curbed my cravings for sweets.
As for my workouts, my primary choice is T25, I tried Insanity but it was not for me. So, I work out 25 minutes a day. I would not call that over kill by any means. I think it is the perfect workout for anyone who is busy.
Lastly, I eat clean. This means that I eat all natural ingredients. No processed foods, foods with additives or preservatives. All fruits and vegetables are fresh and frozen, and rarely canned. Do I break down and have a cookie, cake or desert, absolutely. However, this occurance does not happen often. I have changed how I look at food, rather than seeking out food out of bordem or stress, I look at food as fuel. My new eating habits (not diet) are not extreme. I eat 5 times a day and I make family meals. I hope this clarifies more about what I have been doing to achieve success.
Since becoming a coach I have been able to take what I have learned and pay it forward. I get to help others achieve their goals. I support my challengers through their transformation. I give them tips on how to meal plan, be successful in eating in social situations, and motivate them daily. As a coach, I get to be home with my boys and help other in their health and fitness journeys in a way that I know is safe and healthy. Let's face it, if I did not have someone coaching me, watching what I was doing or holding me accountable for workouts, taking Shakeology, and clean eating, I would be 20 lbs heavier and unhappy. I am a product of the product, and I love what I do and the company I represent.
